Abhijit Das is a writer, director and digital content creator. He is the creator of Large Short Films and the Creative Producer and mentor of India’s first collaborative feature film “THE LAST ACT” with Anurag Kashyap. In a career spanning 12 years with the world’s best advertising agencies (Bates Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi, Lowe Worldwide and DDB) as a Creative Director he created campaigns for ITC, BCCI, Tata Tea and Reliance Communications, among others. As the National Creative Director of Showhouse Events he directed some of India’s largest live musicals with Manish Arora, Karsh Kale and Terence Lewis. He was a consultant with UTV New Media and Reliance Media to set up their digital wings. At the peak of his career, he quit and restarted as Mohit Suri’s 4th assistant. Then he was an Associate Director to Anurag Basu going forward directing telefilms and TVCs. He has directed almost all the youth TV and crimes shows in India. He has directed more than 15 award winning short films and documentaries. He has been directing web series since the last 3 years for Viu Clip, Voot, Netflix, MX Player, ALT and Zee5. He has just finished a anthology of love stories for Zee5.
